Staff Writers

Jackson Petrie

Jackson is the undercover soapy name that allows me access to hot secrets and spoilers that no other site gets its hands on. In my past life, I worked in Hollywood as a writer so I know exactly how the soap game is played. Now that I’m retired I help out Amanda with the amazing TV Soaps and Gossip site.

Carol Cassada

Carol’s love of soap operas began when she was a kid when she watched an episode of The Bold and the Beautiful with her mom. Since then Carol’s love of soap opera began and she became a lifelong fan. These days her main soaps are B&B and Y&R. When she’s not writing about the soaps, she’s busy working on her next romance novel and playing with her fur babies.

Sandra Dee

Sandra Dee is a soap opera enthusiast and spends 20 hours of her life every week watching her favorite daytime dramas.  In her off time – she likes to chat on Facebook with her soapy friends about all the latest switched paternity tests, cheating scandals, and imposters.  Sandra’s all-time favorite soap opera was ‘’Guiding Light,” but now “Bold And The Beautiful” would have to be her number one soap of choice.  If she is not online or watching soaps, you can find Sandra crocheting sweaters for her cats.

Sean O’Brien

After earning a BA in Communications, Sean began his professional career in the Scranton-Wilkes/Barre Red Barons’ front office (the Philadelphia Phillies former Triple-A affiliate). He later worked as a print sports writer. During this millennium – Sean became a state licensed school teacher, the author of the children’s book Maddie: Teaching Tolerance with a Smile, and a credentialed sports columnist. He’s also been a longtime soap opera loyalist.

Rita Ryan

Rita Ryan has been writing since the age of thirteen, starting with songs and later short plays and articles. In her teenage years, she was known as “Rita Lorraine” and tried to get into the country music recording industry in the 1970s and later the gospel music industry in the 1990s. Now, she concentrates her writing on soap opera spoilers specializing in General Hospital, aspires to write a series of family-friendly mysteries in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries style, and the rest of her time is spent being a grandma to her three grandchildren and cat mama to Mollie & Missie. She is married to her childhood sweetheart whom she rediscovered after 30 years apart.

Victor Reins

Writer, novelist, and entertainment admirer. Soap opera and world champion of being a liar (that’s not true)

Renee Staatsburg
