Xander was greatly affected by the death of Susan (Stacy Haiduk), which was something that wouldn’t happen to him if it took place in the past. The actor said that it’s not that he preferred his character as a villain. But he’s happy that his alter ego got to change.
Telfer explained that Xander is a different kind of villain now than before. Unlike before, he feels bad about kidnapping kids and women. He now feels empathetic to his victims and acknowledges that he’s causing them damage.
“He’s a stellar partner to her. He’s loving. He shows up for her whenever she needs him,” Godfrey said about her on-screen husband.
“And he’s got a kilt! What else do you need?” he added.
Telfer added that his love story with Godfrey’s character was his first.
“I want to make it the most be all or end all — and [Linsey] was like, ‘Okay, I’ll do that, too!’” he added.
Godfrey shared that she and Tefler always get in trouble for talking to everyone whenever they’re attending an event.
“[Soap operas are] a genre that relies so heavily on fan opinion. Just to look people in the eye again is such a lovely reward,” she continued.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wendy Throws Off Gabi and Li’s Romance
Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) returned home from their trip to Jakarta. The Former will barge in while Gabi and Li share a romantic moment. Li will get rid of Gabi right away so he could talk to Wendy.
Li does all he can to deny that he’s involved in brainwashing Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) but Wendy will force the truth out of him. She’ll be disappointed to learn the lengths Li is willing to go to just so he could keep Gabi and Stefan apart. She’ll also be furious when she learns that drugging her and Johnny was his idea, too.
Wendy wants to tell Gabi everything but Li will manage to convince her to keep his secret and tries to explain that he did all these things because he loves Gabi so much.
