Welcome To Plathville: Olivia Plath Mining For Hate
After this week’s episode, it wasn’t the first time a lot of shade was thrown at Olivia. Actually, she recently invited TLC fans to send her anonymous messages. In fact, it would be really interesting to know how much of that came from trolls. Back in Season 1, Oliva found a lot of admirers because she tried to wean the kids away from Barry and Kim Plath’s restrictive lifestyle. However, that changed and these days, fans just seem completely over her attitude.
This week, Welcome To Plathville focused on a memorial for young Joshua who passed away at the age of 17 months. Probably, you recall the scene where Kim and Barry revealed how their son died. The towheaded cutie was accidentally run over by his mom. Notably, it was ruled an accidental death. Every year since the show started, the older the kids get together and visit his grave in memory of their little brother
Welcome To Plathville – Olivia Invites Barry To Joshua’s Memorial
In the TLC show, fans saw that the other adult kids didn’t mean to invite either parent to their memorial for Joshua. After all, it might be upsetting for them. So, they gave their parents space to grieve. However, acting like a boss, Olivia invited Barry. In fact, critics think that she hates her mother-in-law so much, that she deliberately excluded her.
Influencer Katie Joy said on Without A Crystal Ball’s Instagram. “My reaction as a mother was sadness for Kim. No matter what someone feels about Kim, Joshua was her son. She has a right to be at any family events honoring her son, especially on his Birthday.”
Many Welcome To Plathville fans agreed that this time, Olivia Plath crossed a massive line. Actually, many of them actually think that Ethan’s wife is probably as toxic as Kim used to be. So, they don’t hold out much hope for her marriage to Ethan.
TLC Fans Hate What Ethan’s Wife Did
Welcome To Plathville fans commented on Katie’s post. One of them asked, “Why was she involved in the decision when it wasn’t HER sibling’s memorial?”
Another angry fan noted, “Olivia has no right to call the shots of who attends anything. Joshua was not her child and Kim may have not been a perfect person but nobody deserves to be treated like that.”
This comment was typical of many: “As much as I don’t like Kim that’s selfish of Olivia to do that to her. As a mother who lost an infant I would be upset if someone did that to me. Ethan should have stepped in and said something.”
