The New Instagram Post Throws Shade
Now that the new season is here, Colton, Tami, and Sophie Winder have been expressing their feelings about not being on the show again. Colton wanted to share with his fans just how he was feeling about the show. He began, “I hope, when all is said and done, that our legacy on Seeking Sister Wife will be that plural marriage lived with a higher intent can be a beautiful relationship, full of love, growth, and progression for both men and women.”
He also described his relationship with his wives to be a very “sacred relationship.” He wants their fans to see them as a family that shows that polygamy is between fully consenting adults and they do not think it should be criminal. “That’s the only reason we chose to take up the invitation to be on television when it was offered. I know there are many that found us, our relationship, and our religion unappealing. Our experience with television has shown us, and reinforced for us, that if we appealed to everyone, we wouldn’t be true to ourselves.”
Fans Praised the Winders
The Winders won the hearts of many fans and they have shown their love for them. They feel that the Winders were the most normal family that they have seen on the show and that they deserve a spinoff of their own. They felt that Colton really wants to expand his family and he is not just in this relationship for sex, like many of the others.
The Winders were pretty free of drama and tension and this could be one of the reasons that they did gain such popularity. We will miss seeing them on the show.
