Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that it may take someone who has embraced their own dark side to see the Devil hiding in plain sight in Salem! Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) was once the serial killer known as the “neck tie killer”. He has since conquered his own demons even though not everyone in Salem believes he has changed. But one person who has been on Ben’s side for quite a while is Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). But now that Marlena has once again been possessed by the devil, Ben may be the first to notice that something is wrong.

Marlena has been Ben’s champion for quite awhile now. She is responsible for finding the right amount of medication plus therapy that made it possible for Ben to turn his life around. It’s been a difficult road, but Ben is doing better than ever. But with Marlena acting strangely, it seems likely that Ben may recognize the signs way before anyone else, even Marlena’s own husband, John Black (Drake Hogestyn).

As viewers know, Ben and his wife Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) have been discussing having a baby. While Ciara wants nothing more than to have Ben’s baby, Ben is much more reluctant. While there isn’t a such thing as a serial killer gene, any baby that Ben has could have the potential to have the mental illness that took him down the path to becoming the “neck tie killer”. So what Marlena says to Ben may take him off guard. But Marlena may have plans of her own.

Ben talks over pretty much everything with Marlena, so he will likely schedule a session with the psychiatrist. But Ben may be surprised Marlena doesn’t seem to share his concerns, but she actively may encourage Ben to have a baby of his own. This won’t sit well with Ben, who may be the first to realize that something isn’t quite right with Marlena!
