90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Darcey Silva Gets Slammed For Barbie Makeover
Fans really think that in her quest for love and perfection, that she took things too far. In fact, all her efforts simply earned her a lot of scorn. Some of them thought that she tried to look like a real-life Barbie. Lambasting her for it, one fan wrote, “Girl you were so beautiful before this surgery. Loving yourself would be loving your flaws. Not trying to correct your flaws, botching them, then hiding behind the mask of “loving myself”. No more surgeries please.
Darcey Silva seems to go for a new look to recover from some inner pain. Meanwhile, others who get it done do so for different reasons. When Angela Deem went for her surgery and makeover, it seemed that she did it to make Michael Ilesanmi jealous. Meanwhile, 90 Day Fiancé alum, Larissa Lima admits she does it to make money off her body. Of all of them, Darcey seems the saddest case, though.
90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Therapist Dr. Kirk Honda Discusses Darcey Silva
If you never heard of Dr. Kirk Honda before, he works in the psychology department at Antioch University of Seattle. An award-winning expert, he qualified as an MA and a PsyD. There, he specializes in Couples and Family Therapy. He also runs a podcast on YouTube, “Psychology In Seattle.” About a year ago, he started discussing stars from 90 Day Fiancé. Naturally, Darcey in her spinoff, Darcey and Stacey interests him.
Last week, he shared some clips of Darcey Silva as she prepped for surgery. She said that she knows that recovering from the surgery will hurt. Actually, Dr. Kirk noted she underwent it before. However, she also talked about hoping it would help to “heal” the pain that she feels inside. Will that work for her? Some skeptical fans said in the comments that it’s unlikely. After all, “Darcy’s logic of healing from the physical pain helping her heal within sounds like the same logic as some people who self harm.”
90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Dr. Kirk Thinks It May Not Heal The Pain
Without condemning her multiple surgeries, he said that he doubts the pain inside will heal by undergoing painful surgery. In his words: “it’s possible that it’s a desperation.” In fact, she feels that it will help her, but according to Kirk, “it might not.” After all, “the pain in the inside is probably what motivated the paranoia which motivated the accusations which hurt.” By pushing away Georgi, she only added more pain to herself.
“What begins as pain ends as pain.” Poor Darcey Silva! What are your thoughts? Sound off in the comments below.
