Fans know that Abigail temporarily left the canvass as her portrayer, Marci Miller takes maternity leave. The character left Salem because she felt that she needed a breath of fresh air and to clear her mind. Her relationship with Chad had hit rock bottom and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) had made things even more complicated. If Miller has completed her leave, the actress can be expected to reprise her role. When that happens, what will happen once Abigail returns to town?
Chad Wants to Fix His Marriage
Spoilers hint that Chad will catch wind of Abigail’s return. When that time comes, he may admit to Jack that he wants to fix his marriage. With the current status of EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) relationship, he may realize that he wants to save whatever he has left with Abigail although he may also feel that he may never be able to reverse the damage that’s been done.
After hearing this, Jack may want to find a way to usher Abby’s return to Salem. He may not have caused Abby and Chad’s breakup but he’ll feel guilty for favoring Gwen more than and have neglected Abby. He may want to make amends by helping fix Chad and Abby’s relationship.
Gwen Confesses to Jack
Also, Gwen Gwen will make a confession to Jack in the week of August 3. Fans know that she’s still lying about her staircase accident being the reason behind her miscarriage. Although she already came clean that Abigail did not push her down the stairs and said that it was an accident. But she still didn’t admit that her miscarriage happened before the fall.
Gwen will feel guilty even more since she’s letting Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) take the fall for her involvement in a drug operation. Will she admit her part in Xander’s current predicament? Will she also let Jack know the true story about her miscarriage? Would Gwen’s confession convince Jack to make Abby return to Salem?
