Some Sister Wives fans feel that the romance between Kody and Meri changed forever when she stunned Kody by cheating on him.
And her discovery that her supposed true love man was actually a woman catfishing made matters worse for both Kody and Meri.
Since that drama, Meri has tried to show that she truly loves Kody. But does she? Or does Meri feel that sticking with Sister Wives offers her only a way to make money?
Did Kody Forcing Meri To Divorce Him Impact Their Relationship?
But some Sister Wives fans side with Meri. They point to the fact that Kody requested that she divorce him so that he could tie the knot with Robyn.
And it’s not just Kody who hurt Meri in that divorce situation. She seemed to think that she had the potential to form a friendship with fourth wife Robyn.
But then, after Kody’s presure to sign the divorce papers worked, Meri seemed to feel betrayed by both Robyn and Kody.
Will Meri Brown Leave Sister Wives?
Given that Meri appears to pretend her love for Kody, some Sister Wives fans wonder if she will ultimately find a way to support herself without the show.
Financial freedom would allow her to exit safely. And Meri has become the queen of posting cryptic quotes on her Instagram.
“And if I am wrong, educate me. Don’t belittle me,” she famously wrote.
“Stop comparing yourself. Flowers are pretty but so are sunsets and they look nothing alike,” read another post from Meri.
And in a recent Instagram post, Meri dropped her biggest clues yet that she’s looking at a life away from Sister Wives.
“Last week, I had the opportunity to take a trip and get together with amazing people and fabulous friends, to learn, to grow, to connect, to share,” wrote Meri. “It was good to see people again and associate on something other than a screen.”
Given that post, some Sister Wives fans agree that Meri no longer wants to limit herself to a life limited to three other wives plus Kody Brown.
Could Meri make it on her own, far away from the entertainment world? Or will she seek a reality TV spin-off showing her new life?
