Eric Brady’s Abandonment

DOOL spoilers reveal that when actor Greg Vaughan left the NBC soap, Eric and Nicole had just gotten married. Fans made it clear that they did not want another breakup. After all, Eric and Nicole endured an endless cycle of splits and reconciliations. After 20 years, the couple finally get a happy ending.

So, they kept the newlyweds together in theory and sent Eric off to the Congo. What has happened is that fans got the wedding they wanted while Nicole has been abandoned by her new husband.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Leaning On Rafe Hernandez

Even though Eric promised he would return home for visits, something has happened every single time. Her patience has run out with both Eric and the uncertain situation. She began by trying to be understanding and supportive. We now see Nicole becoming frustrated and resentful. Every once in a while, she will actually have a physical temper tantrum.

She ended up leaning on Rafe for support, which has kept her relatively grounded. It’s only natural that with an invisible husband, Nicole will find herself bonding with another man. Even though she has developed feelings for Rafe, Nicole hasn’t admitted it.

Ava Vitali’s Unexpected Romance

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that it was Nicole that begged Rafe to let Ava stay with him. She did it because Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) was determined to silence his mother. He had previously drugged her to make Ava appear crazy in order to discredit her. Now that Charlie is dead, Ava should feel safe enough to return to her apartment. However, she is still living at Rafe’s house and they’re developing a bond. In fact, Soap Opera Digest confirms that Rafe and Ava will have a romance this spring.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Jealousy Gets Crazy-Scary

Normally, Nicole does a decent job of hiding her jealousy or any other negative feelings. However, she isn’t able to keep her jealousy in check when she finds out about Rafe and Ava’s love connection. While it’s unclear if her friendships with Rafe and Ava will be strained, there is something mentioned about Eric and Nicole’s marriage.

“Ava and Rafe have been connecting ever since Ava moved into his house and it starts to turn romantic. But that bond between Nicole and Rafe is there and she’s a little bit jealous in spite of herself… As for Eric, he agrees to stay for another 3 months in Africa. Nicole goes off the rails a bit and ends up making a choice that is going to threaten to put an end to her marriage.”

Rafe isn’t the reason for the marriage going south, but it is one of the contributing factors. If Eric would have stayed home instead of running off to play in the jungle, Nicole wouldn’t be looking like a crazy woman. The person who is responsible for all of this is Eric. He had a choice to make and he picked what was a priority to him. It might be time for Nicole to realize that.
