CBS Studios Halts Production For Second Time Due To COVID-19 Infection Concerns

CBS spoilers reveal that CBS Studios will once again suspend filming due to the coronavirus pandemic. There is a surge in COVID-19 cases in the Los Angeles area and other production units are expected to shut down after a request this week from health officials.

CBS has announced it is suspending production on five of its television shows including two from its wildly popular NCIS franchise.

CBS has said that filming on the five shows will return on January 11, a week later than expected. All of the shows film in LA and had been expected to start production: NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, SEAL TEAM, Why Women Kill (which airs on CBS All Access) and Diary of a Future President (which is available on Disney+).
