Duggar Family News: Appreciation Gift On Counting On
In a sneak peek of Counting On, Jessa Duggar explains that they wanted to surprise Jana with something really special. It is their way of letting her know just how much the family appreciates her and everything she does for them. Matriarch Michelle Duggar adds,
“Jana has really been such an encouragement to all of us in the family, investing in each of our lives and just always encouraging family gatherings and get-togethers. I think it was just one of the ways that we felt like it would be really special for her to show her how much we love and appreciate her was to build a greenhouse for her.”
Counting On: Duggar Family’s Dream Greenhouse
The Counting On cast member has developed a passionate interest in gardening over the years. She even has an incredible garden that she uses to feed the family with fresh fruits and vegetables. So, the family plans to build Jana her dream greenhouse, but they want it to be a surprise. So, John David Duggar and his wife, Abbie Duggar, take her on vacation to Knoxville.
Big Surprise Has Big Hiccups On TLC Counting On
Jim Bob Duggar leads the construction effort as the materials come in. However, Jeremiah Duggar admits that there are a lot of glass bits and metal beams. He worries that by the time they are done putting it together, that it might not even look like a greenhouse.
But that’s not the only complication. It rains when they are supposed to pour the concrete, so that puts them behind at least one day. Counting On’s Jessa fears that Jana will come home and the dream greenhouse will barely have the frame up. She explains,
“There’s a possibility that this thing won’t be completed by the time she gets back. I mean, she could get back and it might just be the frame going up. Surprise! Look what we’re doing for you?”
