In fact, Sister Wives fans have watched as financial issues have increasingly crept into the picture even though many viewers were wondering about their solvency from the very beginning of the show.

But now it has come to the point that due to the Kody Brown’s mounting financial issues, fans are questioning whether or not Brown will file for bankruptcy; something the family is not unfamiliar with.

Since Sister Wives began there have been questions about the monetary decisions made in the family, especially by Kody Brown.

Altogether, Kody Brown and his wives have a gaggle of mouths to feed and clothe. Additionally, by necessity there are four separate properties in Las Vegas, mortgages, and rentals. Is it all too much for one man and multiple wives to handle?

Apparently it could be and the Sister Wives family has been in financial straits before. For instance, Christine Brown was on government assistance when the show debuted. She used that money to buy food for her family. And it now may be the case that whatever Kody Brown and his family is receiving from TLC isn’t enough to keep them in the black.

Add to this murky picture the fact that what exactly Kody Brown does for a living is unclear. It was previously said that he worked in online sales, whatever that was; the job description was left vague.

Right now fans think that Brown isn’t working and this has caused many to wonder how the family can make ends meet and meet and meet. There are multiple budgets to manage after all.

Kody Brown and his wives have filed for bankruptcy before. Janelle Brown was the first one to do so, in 1997.

Then, in 2005 both Kody Brown and Meri Brown filed for joint bankruptcy together and in 2010 Christine Brown filed for bankruptcy.

LuLaRoe is a MLM company and the state of Washington has accused them of, “Primarily rewarding participants on recruitment of new participants rather than on bona fide retail sales, thereby resulting in a substantial percentage of participants losing money.” As a result the company could be shut down, leaving the women high and dry.
