Alaskan Bush People Cast: Matt Brown Shares Good News
Alaskan Bush People cast member Matt Brown posted a very positive message on September 1 on his Instagram account. He also told his fans that he has really gotten into art too. “Hey y’all guys, this is my newest piece, I hope you like it. Also I just put out a YouTube video where you can watch me draw a cool picture in timelapse! (Don’t forget to help me out and subscribe, and see my next videos as they come out). God bless.”
Back in July 2020, Alaskan Bush People cast member Matt came out to fans and talked about how he was “completely broken” when he went into the Betty Ford rehab center. That was two years ago! “Slowly one day at a time, they helped me build myself back. It wasn’t just about getting me back on the road again, for me it was mostly about processing, addressing, and dealing with the negative feelings and events of my past, that I just couldn’t get over. I found happiness. It’s still one day at a time, and I still have my days, but it’s so much easier now, now that I have tools, now that I understand how to better understand myself. To put it as simply as I can…I just got tired, and finally looked for a better way. God bless y’all guys, and thank you for sticking by me.”
Matt Brown is currently living in California and is staying close to his rehab center. He knows that his Alaskan Bush People family is having a tough time right now with the fires and he continues to send them his well wishes. We are not sure when we will see Matt again on the show, but we are very proud of how far he has come with his sobriety.
