Love After Lockup introduced Lacey and Shane Whitlow during their second season on WeTV. Lacey always stood out from the Lockup cast because she had not one, but TWO prison inmate boyfriends. Lacey and John had dated off and on for years, then she actually met Shane on a prison dating website while John was locked up.

For the first few Love After Lockup episodes Lacey juggled the two men, created reality TV love triangle gold, and after much hoopla made her choice. Rather than making things work with inmate John, who she had known since she was in high-school, she chose Shane Whitlow.
Despite their issues, Lacey and Shane Whitlow were married on the beach, and although both confessed to cheating on Life After Lockup and John returned and stirred up more drama, the couple somehow managed to avoid divorce.

Lacey Whitlow posted a sweet Instagram slideshow commemorating their big day and captioned it, “Happy 1 Anniversary Hubby. I love you so much last year we got married on the hottest day of the year and today it’s just as hot! Thank you for everything that you do I am the luckiest woman in the world! You are my family and I can’t wait to see what this year brings!”
In honor of their anniversary, Lacey and Shane appear to have also started a new YouTube channel dedicated to the Whitlow Family. And, their first video uploaded this week is from their wedding a year ago.
