Meghan Markle Desperate To Win Back The Public’s Approval, Is It Possible?

Meghan Markle is desperate to win over the public’s approval again. She reportedly been offered £1million to do a tell-all interview about her life after leaving the royal family. The interview is expected to appear after the coronavirus pandemic is over. Royal fans have been begging Meghan not to do it, as it could ruin her image.

The Duke And Duchess Of Sussex Moved From Canada To Los Angeles And Looking For Work

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved from Canada to Los Angeles and looking for work. They stepped back from their senior royals on March 31. According to a report via the Daily Star, Oprah Winfrey is one of Meghan’s top picks to interview her from her shocking exit from the Royal Family. The outlet said that Meghan is “extremely serious” about trying to “win back the public” and wants to do it with a tell-all interview.

“It will be the most anticipated global TV interview event since Diana’s famous tell-all chat with Martin Bashir,” an insider said.

The couple will also allow the “cameras to film their home and family life.” The proceeds will be donated to a charity or the NHS.

“When she (Meghan Markle) was part of the Royal Family, it would have been unthinkable for her to do a solo interview with anyone about her life and how being a princess has changed her world,” the insider continued. “But now she’s very much her own boss and it has put her under pressure feeling that the public have lost their ‘love’ for her and Harry after they took the big step of going on their own.”

Royal fans are not on board with this idea. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on a tell-all interview.

“Not a good idea. It’s backfired on so many Royals when they tried to ‘tell their side’ (most recently Andrew of course but Charles & Diana also.) If her objective is to earn money, it could work. But she’s trying to win back the public, it’s extremely risky.”

A tell-all interview would be the first since Princess Diana’s tell-all interview with Martin Bashir back in 1995. Royal author Penny Junor said that the interview made the Queen “lose her patience” with her former daughter-in-law. It broke Princess Diana’s relationship with the Queen.

Since leaving the UK, Meghan has done voiceover work for Disney’s Elephant documentary.
