Love After Lockup spoilers reveal that there has been another arrest among the cast of the show. This time around it is Antoine Whitaker. Fans of the show know him best as Lacey’s boyfriend and father to their child, Antoinette. He hasn’t been exactly on the straight and narrow and when the news of his arrest hit, fans were shocked. This could land him in prison for the rest of his life and just seven months after his daughter was born.
What Happened?
The news of Whitaker’s arrest hit shortly after the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office shared pictures of Antoine on their website. It turns out that he was involved in a hit-and-run on May 8. The Sheriff’s Office tweeted, “Deputies are searching for a heavy set W/M wearing a black shirt/ black shorts, who fled on foot from a collision at 180th ST. SE/ Snohomish Ave, Snohomish. The suspect is possibly armed with a handgun. If you see someone match the description, do not approach.”
According to the county records, he was arrested on May 17th and then he was booked. The charges listed are as follows: “Unlawful possession of firearm, Felony C. MFG- DEL SCH-I-II-NARC-SCH IV-FLN (W-Intent) (Cocaine) Felony B. Display carry with intent to intimidate, Gross Misdemeanor, Hit and Run Injury, Felony C.” The record also stated, “a preliminary appearance happened on May 18 and prosecutors made a motion for $100,00 bail. Meantime, the defense requested bail at $10,000. It was ultimately set at $50,000.”
What Will Happen Now?
With all of the incidents on Antoine’s record, it doesn’t look as if he will be out of jail any time soon. Back in 2018, he was arrested for stealing a car and running from police when they attempted to pull him over for speeding. He then fled the scene of the crime on foot after wrecking the car. When he was arrested then, he already had seven other felonies on his record, as well as two outstanding warrants for his arrest.
It looks as if Antoine is going to be put away for quite some time now that he has been arrested once again. Fans are concerned about Lacey and their daughter, but it turns out that she knows how to take care of herself and she may be better off without him. Lacey has yet to make a statement on social media about what happened, but it seems as if she will more than likely do so soon enough. We will keep an eye out for that.
