Harris has wanted to help Hope to find Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson). Hope knew that Megan had been responsible for putting Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) in danger. Hope knew that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) had been able to save Marlena from Megan. Hope had wanted to help Steve to find Kayla.

Hope and Steve found out from Megan that Thomas Banks (Eileen Davidson) had taken Kayla. Hope and Steve did not know that Kayla had been taken by her brother Bo Brady (Peter Reckell). Megan has wanted to find a way to prevent Hope from being with Bo. Steve had gone to try to find Kayla. Steve had been shocked to find out that Bo had taken Kayla. Bo took Steve and Kayla hostage because he needed Kayla to help him to produce a youth serum.

Bo believed that he would make a fortune because he would sell the serum. Hope had been determined to find Steve and Kayla. Hope had wanted Harris to help her with her efforts to bring Steve and Kayla home. Harris had been able to find out that Bo had taken Steve and Kayla. Bo convinced Harris to keep the secret that he had Steve and Kayla from Hope. Harris had intended on keeping the truth from Hope but decided that Hope needed to find out about Bo.

Harris had told Bo’s son Shawn Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) that Hope could be in danger from Bo. Harris told Shawn that Bo had killed Kate.

Hope had been able to find Bo but he thought that he needed to kill her. Hope was able to reach Bo. Hope was shocked that Bo had been shot by Shawn. Hope is going to be afraid that she will lose Bo again. Hope had thought that she wanted to be in a relationship with Harris because she had thought that she lost Bo. Harris is aware that he may not be able to be with Hope because Bo is back in Hope’s life.
