Little People Big World: Josiah Roloff Says His First Word
Little People Big World (LPBW) baby Josiah Roloff seems to be well on the road to cuteness. Certainly, it seems that Tori and Zach breed happy and charming babies. In fact, it took time for Josiah to crack a real smile, but now he can’t seem to stop. This week, he said his first word. Can you guess what it was?
Little People Big World: Josiah Roloff Another Cute Addition
The Roloff grandparents, Matt and Amy now have a lot of charming little kids to adore. It’s not often that TLC fans get to see all of the cousins together. However, at Christmas this last year, photos of all of them arrived on social media. Ember, Bode, and Radley were joined by Jackson, Lilah, little Josiah, and even Mateo. At the time, Josiah was still a tiny infant but he’s making huge strides now.
When Little People Big World fans first saw Josiah, many of them seemed concerned that there might be something wrong with him. Actually, people saw that his little tongue just wouldn’t stay inside his mouth. Scared that it might mean surgery or difficulty with feeding and talking, they questioned his mom. Eventually, the TLC star explained that “A larger tongue is a characteristic of achondroplasia! He will grow into it. 🤗.”
Little People Big World: 11-Month Milestone For Josiah Roloff
When Tori shared about Josiah’s milestones a few weeks ago, he had just turned 11 months old. At the time, she told her fans that he chatters a lot in baby language. However, he hasn’t yet started using proper words. Well, that changed on April 5 and his mom shared the delightful moment on her Instagram Stories.
The Little People Big World mom seemed thrilled with her boy when she held him close. Babbling over and over, he suddenly said, “Mama.” Well, he kept saying it, and his mom’s eyes opened wide with delight. Then she added to her story, “Imma count it!!!!” adding the word, “Mama!!!”
First Word Is ‘Mama’
Little People Big World fans might have been surprised that the first word that Josiah Roloff said was “Mama.” According to Romper, “a lot of kids ultimately say “Dada” first.” Citing Dr. Catherine Gritchen, they explained that a mom is simply seen as an extension of the baby. They affiliate with their mother so closely, they don’t realize that they are separate entities. And that explains why they so often say “Dada” first. How cute is that?
