Besides caring for German shepherd dogs, 90 Day Fiancé stars Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs have taken on more responsibilities. Meanwhile, the TLC reality stars have taken in three orphaned babies that need constant attention

In a video shared on Instagram, Julia explains that she found three, orphaned baby squirrels outside their home. At first, she kept an eye on the babies for a while, in case their mother returned. However, it wasn’t to happen, so the Russian beauty decided to take the babies in.

Julia tried to contact animal control to see if they could help, but eventually, she took the babies into her and Brandon’s home to keep them warm.

Using some of Brandon’s warm socks, Julia created a warm and cozy nest for the orphaned baby squirrels. Meanwhile, she asked Brandon to climb the tree outside where the babies were found, in case there were more.

It turned out it was just the original three babies, so the 90 Day Fiancé star collected some supplies to help care for the tiny squirrels. According to Julia, she has saved kittens and puppies in the past but had never looked after baby squirrels. Despite this, she collected some animal formula, as well as tiny syringes to coax the babies to eat.

Looking after baby squirrels becomes a family affair

Caring for such tiny babies becomes a full-time job and Julia and Brandon needed to feed the tiny squirrels formula five to six times a day. Meanwhile, Julia got help from squirrelsandmore.com on how to care for the little ones. The first thing she found out was that baby mammals should not be fed cow’s milk, as this is dangerous to their health.

In the meantime, the tiny furballs will be ready to be weaned at around six to seven weeks old. However, during that period, the baby squirrels need constant loving care. Julia and Brandon cannot spend 24 hours a day caring for them, so Brandon’s parents, Betty and Ron Gibbs have been helping Julia and Brandon look after the babies.

As 90 Day Fiancé fans know, Julia and Brandon are animal lovers and have three dogs in their home. However, the Russian TLC reality star keeps trying to convince Brandon they need more. In the video, she says she loves caring for animals, as she feels it comes naturally to her.

Naturally, some of their fans will wonder if the tiny squirrels will make Julia want to have a baby with Brandon. It has been a while now, so they are keen for Julia and Brandon to expand their human family.
