Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Abe Loses Popularity As Mayor!

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that a year ago, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) pushed her husband Abe Carver (James Reynolds) into running for Governor. Abe has been the Mayor of Salem for quite awhile and wasn’t sure he wanted to go any further in the political rat race. But after awhile Paulina wore Abe down and he agreed to run. But once Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), who runs a public relations firm did some preliminary polling, she discovered that it was Paulina who was more likely to win. So Abe once again ran for mayor while his wife ran for Governor. And they both won!

Days of Our Lives spoilers – Paulina Price quickly resigned as Mayor!

But as quickly as she was elected, Paulina had to resign. A scandal involving Paulina’s daughter erupted and Paulina had no choice but to give up her position. Years ago, when Chanel was in college she had an affair with her college professor. The professor’s wife discovered the affair and lured Chanel to a remote rooftop where they had a confrontation.

Believing her life in danger, Chanel accidentally caused the professor’s wife to fall off the rooftop to her death. Paulina arrived and used her fortune to cover up Chanel’s involvement and no criminal charges were filed at the time.

DOOL Spoilers – Sloane Peterson has an axe to grind!

Salem newcomer Sloane Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) turned out to be the daughter of the professor and his wife. When she found out what Chanel did, as well as how Paulina covered it up she sought revenge. She brought to light that she believed Chanel murdered her mother and Chanel and Paulina were both arrested. Super attorney Belle Black (Martha Madison) eventually got all the charges dropped. Later on Sloane filed a civil suit and Belle had that case thrown out as well.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Paulina Price’s lies may hurt Abe Carver!

Abe is a very public figure as Mayor of Salem. And while Belle did an amazing job with both the criminal and civil suits, public opinion may being to hurt both Paulina and Abe. Unfortunately, Paulina has quite a track record of not telling the truth which could certainly extend to her husband as well. Abe and Paulina love each other very much but their association could end Abe’s tenure as Mayor as well as tarnish his honest reputation.
