1000-Lb Sisters fans waited for Tammy Slaton to get serious about her weight loss for years. However, spoilers revealed that she finally got a grip on her life. Reportedly, she’s left the rehab facility in Ohio and has gone back to Kentucky after giving up booze, and vaping. Additionally,  she dropped her weight by nearly 300 pounds.

When TLC introduced Tammy Slaton and her sister, Amy Halterman to fans, they already had a large following on YouTube. There, they laughed and joked about a lot of things, including eating too much food. Actually, Amy retained her sense of humor. But, after Tammy failed to get to her target weight for gastric surgery, she became surly. In Season 4, she’s finally smiling again.

1000-Lb Sisters fans were shocked when they saw that in the Ohio rehab facility, Tammy was offered food that seemed unhealthy. Given her size and her apparent death wish, it seemed incredible. But even more shocking, was the fact that Tammy refused to eat the unhealthy things on the menu. Certainly, that’s not the old Tammy that fans watched for three seasons.

The news that Tammy lost weight isn’t really new, but the fact that she’s going back to Kentucky is. If you don’t know, she married Caleb Willingham who she met in rehab. According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Caleb hasn’t yet left the facility. The outlet also noted that Caleb will move “to Kentucky” when he gets out.

1000-Lb Sisters spoilers revealed that her long journey to weight loss was helped when she dumped her vices like booze and vaping. Plus it probably helped that she also swapped one addiction for another. On the show, she claimed that she became addicted to losing weight instead of maintaining her other addictions. The Sun reported, “Tammy, 36, has returned to Kentucky after abstaining from drinking alcohol, smoking, and vaping for nine months.”

Spoilers Revealed Tammy’s Doctor Was Amazed

1000-Lb Sisters fans saw on the TLC show, that Tammy Slaton was delighted when she told her doctor that she lost a lot of weight. He claimed she did it by herself. Meanwhile, she claimed she couldn’t have done it without him.

When TLC shared a teaser on Instagram for that episode, one fan said, “Way to go Tammy!!! So proud of you, keep it up!!”

Another impressed fan wrote, “I love seeing the sense of pride on her face.”
