Audrey Roloff Opens Up On Why They Left Little People, Big World

Little People, Big World stars, Audrey Roloff and Jeremy Roloff have finally opened up on their reasons for leaving the TLC reality show. The move came after decades of starring in the show since Jeremy was young. Finally, Audrey Roloff has revealed the truth about why they chose to stop appearing on the reality show.

Why did Audrey and Jeremy Roloff leave Little People, Big World?

Jeremy Roloff grew up in front of the Little People, Big World cameras. Due to this, fans watched him go on vacations with his parents, Matt and Amy Roloff. He also dealt with the difficult teen years on reality TV.

Moreover, in 2010, viewers got to watch when Jeremy met the love of his life, Audrey Roloff. Soon after they began dating, he welcomed her into his reality TV life. In fact, Audrey appeared in many LPBW episodes as his girlfriend and eventually, his fiancé.

Meanwhile, when Jeremy and Audrey wed in 2014, Little People, Big World fans got to see their wedding plans in season 13 of the reality show. Moreover, the wedding was celebrated on the family farm, with every family member in attendance. This led to fans following the newlywed couple on social media.

Growing the Roloff family

For a while, Jeremy continued to share his private life with Audrey on the show after they wed. Moreover, when they decided to grow their family, fans got to hear the exciting news. It was in 2017 that the couple was expecting their first child.

After this, Little People, Big World fans watched as the couple prepared for the birth of their baby. In fact, they had much to do, which wasn’t helped by the fact that they were in the middle of renovating their new home.

In September of 2017, Jeremy and Audrey’s daughter, Ember, was born, and parenthood became a challenge for the TLC reality stars. However, despite this, fans were with them throughout. That is until they stopped wishing to share their private lives.

It was in 2018 that Jeremy and Audrey stepped away from the TLC reality show. Jeremy had decided that 17 seasons was enough. He did say how thankful he was for the experience and for his loyal fans.

Audrey explains Little People, Big World departure

After around five years of their exit from the show, Audrey finally revealed the reasons for their LPBW departure. While hosting a Q&A on her Instagram, Audrey explained that she and Jeremy feel they have “more control and freedom” to share what they want to since their departure. In fact, the couple feels less “restricted by tv contracts,” which prevented them from pursuing other opportunities.

Moreover, Audrey also revealed that she and Jeremy have chosen not to raise their children on reality TV. Meanwhile, she knows how the industry has changed since the days her husband was growing up in it. Nowadays, she doesn’t feel the TLC reality show aligns with what they “wanted to do and be about.”

The former Little People, Big World star did add that it wasn’t an easy decision for them to make for financial reasons. However, despite this, they are “very grateful” they decided to step away from the show.
