90 Day Fiance Alum Varya Posts A Photo Of Geoffrey Paschel in Prison

90 Day Fiance fans were a bit shocked to discover that Varya Malina seemed determined to stand by her man, Geoffrey Paschel. For a start, he was convicted of assault and sentenced to a long time in prison. And secondly, people who think he did the crime wonder why she would hold out for an apparently violent man. Anyway, this week, she posted a photo of him in prison and he looks remarkably happy.

90 Day Fiance: Varya Malina Keeps Fans Updated About Geoffrey

Before his sentencing, TLC fans knew that Varya’s boyfriend could face a long time in prison. At one stage, the tabloids talked about as much as 30 years. Geoffrey Paschel always maintained his innocence. In fact, he claimed that the charges just arose over a dispute of custody. Anyway, he took the case to trial which turned out to be a bad move as he landed 18 years behind bars. Now, Varya Malina thinks of him as it’s the month of love.

90 Day Fiance fans can’t really get inside the mind of Varya. Clearly, she goes through a lot of down moments with Geoffrey away. She keeps herself busy with work, the dogs, Geoffrey’s kids, and travel. Sometimes, people tell her to forget him and just go home. But, she resolutely stays around and nowadays she can’t even visit him because she refuses to be scanned. So, she has to call him instead.

90 Day Fiance: Varya Reveals A Photo Of Geoffrey In His Prison

Varya has been to Peru and other places recently. Perhaps all of her explorations help her to stop thinking of her lover in jail. Sometimes, she invites a bunch of like-minded folks to go along with her. On the surface of it all, she’s having a wonderful time. But this week, she proved that she’d rather just be home with Geoffrey.

When the 90 Day Fiance alum took to her stories, she said, “You know I like new places and new experiences.” That text overlay showed her on her travels. But the next photo revealed her man in jail with herself in the photo on a  video call. She captioned that one with, “But the person I’d like to share it with is currently in prison.” 

Will They Ever Explore The World Together Again?

90 Day Fiance fans heard that Geoffrey did file for an appeal. However, there doesn’t seem to be much movement going on. While the hope that their fans hold for an early release might comfort Varya, the chances seem slimmer as each month goes by. At least, from the photo of a smiling Geoffrey, fans can see that he doesn’t look too down in the dumps.
