Roman is concerned about his son Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) because he has gotten involved with Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty). Roman does not want Sloan to hurt Eric.

Roman is concerned that Sloan may put Eric in a bad position. Sloan has been trying to go after Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) and her daughter Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). Sloan believes that Chanel and Pauline need to be brought to justice for the deaths of her parents. Sloan has decided to take legal action against Paulina and Chanel. Roman has been worried about Paulina and Chanel. Roman is close friends with Paulina’s husband Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Roman knows that Kate and Paulina had become friends. Roman believes that Sloan may try to use Eric in some way to get back Paulina and Chanel.

Roman knows that Eric has been trying to get his love life back on track. Eric had been married to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). Eric ended his marriage to Nicole because she had a one-night stand with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). Eric had left Salem to do charity work in Africa but came back to help his mother Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidra Hall) and niece Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Eric decided to stay and had thought about reuniting with Nicole. Eric found out that Nicole had married Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).

Eric tried to stay away from Nicole and got into a relationship with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu). Eric decided to end his relationship with Jada because Nicole was going to leave Rafe to be with him again. Eric found out that Jada was going to have his child. Eric wanted to be a father to Jada’s child and be in a relationship with Nicole. Eric was furious when he found out that Jada decided to end her pregnancy after talking to Nicole.

Eric blamed Nicole for Jada’s decision and decided that he did not want to be with Nicole. Eric had gotten into trouble with the law. Eric had hit EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) because EJ was with Nicole. Eric needed legal representation and turned to Sloan for help. Sloan was able to help Eric and wanted to spend time with him. Eric has found that he can turn to Sloan to help him. Eric got Sloan to take care of Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater). Eric wanted to help Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) deal with Rachel’s mother Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). Sloan was concerned about helping Eric but agreed to help him.
