Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) has suffered a heartbreaking loss. Stephanie had thought that she could get the help that she needed from her boyfriend Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) but she has found out a terrible truth about Alex. Stephanie may find that she will get the help that she needs from Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Stephanie Johnson Prevented from Saying Goodbye to Dr. Kayla Johnson

Stephanie had known that her mother Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) had been targeted by Orpheus AKA Milo Harp (George Delhoyo). Orpheus had infected Kayla, Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) with a deadly toxin. Kayla, Marlena, and Kate had been able to get a lifesaving antidote but needed a second dose of the antidote. Kayla and Kate had a relapse to the illness at the same time. Kayla had wanted Stephanie to be with her.

Kayla asked her husband Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) to find Stephanie. Steve did not want to leave Kayla’s side and asked Chad to find Stephanie. Chad tried to call Stephanie but she was with Alex. Stephanie did not know that Alex had turned off her phone to keep Chad from talking to Stephanie. Chad was able to find Stephanie and told her that Kayla was in the hospital. Chad had hoped that he would be able to get Stephanie to the hospital in time to be with Kayla.

Stephanie did not arrive in time to say goodbye to Kayla before she died. Stephanie has been devastated that she could not be with Kayla. Stephanie has found out that Alex had turned her phone off which kept her from getting to Kayla in time. Stephanie does not want to be around Alex because he kept her from being with Kayla in the end.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Chad DiMera Suffers from Losing Kate Roberts and Abigain Deveraux DiMera

Chad wants to help Stephanie to deal with losing Kayla. Chad has been able to turn to Stephanie to help him with losing his wife Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). Chad had started to want to move on from losing Abigail and had thought that he would get into a relationship with Stephanie. Chad decided that he was not ready to get into a new relationship.

Chad and Stephanie decided that they would be friends. Chad may find that Stephanie will be able to help him again. Chad and Kate have been close friends for a long time. Kate died with her son Dr. Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and her husband Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) at her side. Chad has been upset that Kate has died. Chad may find that he will get closer to Stephanie because of losing Kate.
