Jenny Slatten of 90 Day Fiancé shocked fans with a video on Christmas Day. The video shared by the 64-year-old featured her and her husband, Sumit Singh, spending time with his family.

As fans know, Jenny and Sumit finally married after beginning their relationship more than a decade ago. Jenny eventually moved to India to live with her fiancé. But it wasn’t happily ever after for the couple. Just the beginning in fact on a long road of hardship as Sumit’s family did not approve of the couple.

Jenny & Sumit’s Major Differences

From their large age gap to Jenny unable to have kids as well as their cultural differences, Sumit’s family just didn’t see how it would all work. And they weren’t willing at the time to work through things.

Their disapproval let to Sumit’s troubles on whether or not to leave his family behind. Jenny tried repeatedly to make things work and show her best side to Sumit’s family but it didn’t do the couple any good.

Sumit’s Parents & Extended Family May Have Had a Change of Heart

Now after sometime, it seems Sumit’s family may have put their opinions aside to celebrate the holidays with the couple. Jenny’s video features Sumit’s family for Christmas as they all spent time together.

Extended family is also featured in the video with 90 Day Fiancé fans thrilled to see things working out for the couple who have had so many challenges to overcome since deciding to become a couple.

Fans now wonder if TLC made Sumit’s parents and family look far worse than they truly are. Could they have first disapproved but quickly have come around until to be featured in the show as unsupportive and mean to Jenny?
