Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Bonnie’s Double Kidnapping Trauma, Develops Agoraphobia?
Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) is having a hard time recovering from her double kidnapping trauma. She recently said she’s never leaving the Kiriakis mansion again, is she developing agoraphobia on top of PTSD?
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Afraid To Leave The House
Agoraphobia is a psychological term, and a diagnosis for someone who becomes phobic about leaving a place, usually their home. But it can also cause people to hibernate in their bed and never leave their bedroom, feeling unsafe and panicky if they leave their self-imposed boundaries. Bonnie has been through many traumas in her life, having been in prison and having killed an ex sister in law on her wedding day.
But she’s always bounced back stronger than ever, so for Bonnie, this emotional fear and panic is a first. She cannot get the evil clown and his actions out of her head, and it’s like he follows her everywhere.
DOOL Spoilers: Deeply Ingrained Fear
Bonnie is suffering from a deeply ingrained fear, but part of it may be that her fellow hostage is now dead. Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) is said to have died in a fiery crash after Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) went on a revenge spree. The musclebound clown, as she called Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) who she first accused, is still on the loose so she’s likely afraid he’ll come after her and finish the job.
Of course, she was right, but she was never the game plan-she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and Xander had to make her Susan’s “roommate”. Xander didn’t really even want to kidnap Susan, but he was in desperate need of money and Ava offered it to him – although she never paid him.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Bonnie Kiriakis Needs Professional Help
There’s no doubt that Bonnie is suffering from a paralyzing fear emotionally and mentally, and she needs professional help; Sarah Horton Cook (Linsey Godfrey) can relate but she’s not a psychiatrist. Sarah’s hallucinations were from the drug that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) injected her with, however and there is a difference. Bonnie will need possibly some sedatives or tranquilizers for now, but she’ll need deep therapy to follow up with.
At some point, she’ll need to learn to face her fear by exposing herself to ugly face clowns. But for now, she’d have a panic attack even if it were Ronald McDonald-no happy meals for her, thank you!
