Love After Lockup Spoilers: Season Seven Is Coming, Here’s What To Know

Love After Lockup spoilers reveal that we are in for a brand new season on December 16! There are going to be a lot of surprises this season and it just seems as if December can’t get here soon enough! There will be a few new couples, but also fans will get a chance to see two couples that we have all grown to love.

Who’s Coming Back?

Fans of Love After Lockup will be glad to know that one of the returning couples will be Justine and Michael. You may recognize them from Love During Lockup and now they are sharing their story here. Another couple that is returning is Gabby and Chris. Fans will be very happy to see them since they have been away from the network for a little while.

The press release for this new season states, “This season four new couples plus two franchise favorites who were JUST released after their stints on Love During Lockup take the drama t the next level with deeper love, bigger doubts, even more mystery, and unique firsts- from first touch and kiss, to moving in together, to meeting the family.”

The press release added, “As viewers go along for the wild ride of maintaining romance beyond prison walls, they will once again debate if it’s true love or just another convincing con. Although every journey begins with a long-awaited prison release, each of our lovebirds have their own winding path to the altar…or an explosive breakup.”

Meet the Couples

One couple that we will see this season is Monique and Derek. Monique saw his photo a few times when she was scanning through a pen-pal group on Facebook. This group is for inmates looking to make connections through writing letters. They began writing to one another and soon fell in love and began a long-distance relationship. They have been dating for two years now and they have yet to meet in person. There may be a big issue with Derek and his love of fitness, but Monique has lied about her interest in it. She is trying to get weight loss surgery before they actually meet face-to-face so he doesn’t catch her in her lie.

Nathan and Skylar are joining the show this season and they started dating when they were both in prison. They connected with one another while at a halfway house and it was so dramatic that Skylar got sent back to jail. Nathan ended up moving in with his grandmother and wanted to save money to be able to propose to Skylar. Things get a little tense when we find out that Skylar has two boyfriends that are dead.

Aris and Cameron are coming to the show this season with their story and Aris met him when she sent him a DM. He is an aspiring rapper and she loves his music. She does get jealous of his female fans and this is where the tension really grows. When he chooses music over their relationship, things will get serious.
