Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will be large and in charge this week, doing what she does beset which is get under people’s skin. The bulldog DA will share scenes with incarcerated Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). Chanel did something very, very bad and now she must pay the price. You can bet that Trask will be her usual sharky self as she looks to make an example of the Sweet Bits baker.

In major casting news, Steve Burton has joined the cast of DOOL. He recently appeared on Beyond Salem: Chapter 2. He reprised his role as Harris Michaels, the character he debuted as on Days of our Lives in 1988.

Now that Burton is joining the Peacock sudser, fans should look for him to appear sometime in the early New Year.

His casting is a coup for the show, with many fans wondering if Burton would return to ABC’s General Hospital in light of the soap lifting its Covid vaxx mandate. Burton, along with Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jacks), was let go when he declined to be inoculated.

It looks like Burton will not return to his role as Jason Morgan on General Hospital, at least for the near future.
