Doubling Down with the Derricos spoilers reveal that we are going to see a new season of the show sooner than we ever thought! The family of 16 is ready to share more of their lives with viewers and fans have been waiting for so long to see the changes that have happened in the lives of the Derricos.
The Filming Has Begun
The news of the family filming again was just confirmed this past week and it made fans very excited. By looking at the filming timeline, this would mean that the new season will start sometime in early 2023. The show premiered in 2020 and although it does seem as if it has been on much longer, it has developed a large fanbase as well. Deon and Karen Derrico have 14 children and the show follows their lives and how they raise that many children.
The last time that we saw the Derricos was back in February of 2022 and it finished up in early May. This seems as if the filming was much earlier than we anticipated and this also makes fans think that the show could premiere earlier than it did this year.
The Derricos’ Post
Just last week, fans noticed that the Derricos had started to share more about the new season. In a post, Deon wrote that they had started filming the new season of the show and the family was very excited about it. They shared a video of the family dancing with the crew members. Deon wrote, “My office looks a mess because the production crew has just taken over. They have literally taken over my office.”
The family mentioned that they do not have a premiere date yet, but they did mention that they knew it would be early in 2023. Many fans told Deon that they had been waiting so long to see the family and that this post literally made their day!
