Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Rafe Startled By Jada’s News, Is She Pregnant?

 Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Salem Police Commissioner Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will be startled by his new hire’s news. Will Detective Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) reveal she’s pregnant?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Jada Hunter Faints

Jada is in Brady’s Pub with Rafe when she suddenly collapses and faints dead away in his arms with no warning at all. She’s lucky he was there to catch her, because in a restaurant with closely placed tables, she certainly could have gotten a dangerous bump to the noggin! Needless to say, Rafe is rather alarmed, especially with the rash of Orpheus (George DelHoyo) related poisonings, even though Jada had handled an antidote, which apparently has worked.

Jada hasn’t acted ill, so the sudden collapse is certainly a shock, but she recovers quickly and gets to her feet, and assures her boss she isn’t deathly ill. However, she hadn’t banked on her diagnosis while she’s practically still on probationary status as a detective; now she has to tell Rafe that she’s pregnant.

Jada tells Rafe she certainly didn’t plan on having a baby but the relationship with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) happened so quickly. She hadn’t been on birth control because she’d never had a need, but started on it after the first sexual encounter. She’s gone off of it after a home pregnancy test came out positive; Rafe tells her she should go to Salem University Hospital and get checked by an obstetrician.

Being on birth control even a few weeks into a pregnancy could cause problems for the baby and besides, and OB/GYN can make sure it’s not a false positive result. At this point, it may be doubtful that it’s a false positive but one never knows, so he urges her to go to the hospital and be checked there.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Has She Told Eric Brady?

Rafe asks if she’s told Eric, because she knows he would want to know right away, although getting checked at the hospital first would probably be a good idea. Rafe explains how Eric had a newborn baby with a woman a few years back who died in the hospital nursery. It turns out Jada already knows about Sarah Horton Cook’s (Linsey Godfrey) baby with Eric and the sad story, he’s told her.

Jada promises to make an appointment at the hospital as soon as she can, and Rafe encourages her to take off the rest of her shift and go right away. She appreciates that even though there is a lot going on for the PCPD to investigate and she promises not to take too long – Rafe tells her to take her time.
