Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Chanel Durpis (Raven Bowens) made a terrible mistake in college that Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) was certainly aware of. Whatever it was, Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) has an anonymous client who knows all about it and wants a large sum of money to keep the information quiet. Sloan approached Paulina with the blackmail threat and Paulina told Chanel that her past might not be quite so buried after all.

Paulina has made it clear that she has no intention of paying Sloan’s mysterious client. But she has considered ending her bid to run for Governor. Look for Chanel to be conflicted. While she certainly won’t want her past indiscretion to be made public, she won’t want to give in to a blackmailer either, even if it means that everything will come out. Whatever she did, it could cause Chanel to lose everything.

If Paulina goes forward, Chanel will have to face whatever she did. If it’s a criminal act, then Chanel could even face jail time. Chanel’s life is in a good place at the moment. She is in a happy if not monogamous relationship with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). The bakery she co-owns with Alley is doing well. She is in a really good place. But she won’t want her mother to suffer because of her past, so look for Chanel to come to a decision.

Chanel is risking everything. Her very freedom could be at risk. Not to mention her business and her relationship with Allie. But Chanel won’t see that she has any choice. She won’t want her mother to suffer because of her past and if she confesses to everything, then her mother can do some real good as Governor. But will Paulina see things the same way? Paulina’s other daughter, Lani Price (Sal Stowers) is in prison already. Paulina wouldn’t want to see both of her daughters in jail.
