Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tanner Stine Discusses Days Debut As Joey Johnson

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Tanner Stine was thrilled to score the role of Joey Johnson on Peacock’s Beyond Salem 2. However, Stine was a little intimidated when he saw his pal, Carson Boatman’s (Johnny Dimera) lines one day. Thankfully, Stine started with 5 to 10 pages a day since he was just coming into the mix.

Carson Boatman Helped With Tanner Stine’s Audition

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Tanner and Carson taped his audition at Carson’s house. Carson even read with him, they only did one scene. Tanner got the call a week and a half later that he got the part and celebrated with a beer. Stine says both he and Boatman tried for this role seven years ago. Stine had gotten to meet Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Johnson) then and they were reunited when he got the role this time.

Stine reveals his first family scene when Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla showed up in Seattle before Steve was kidnapped made him nervous. Stine says that his fellow actors made that scene a lot easier than he had it built up in his head to be. Now Stine has been thrown into the heart-wrenching scene of Kayla on her deathbed. Stine says that the scene was easy for him to fall into.

Stine says that it was great starting off with Mary Beth and Stephen. Stine says these two are kind and amazing and made him feel like he was a part of the family right away. Stine says it is nice to see people come in and do their scenes and know that is how it’s supposed to be done. Stine also has no complaints about his onscreen siblings either.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tanner Stine Has An Impressive Resume

Stine moved to L.A straight out of high school. The purpose of the move was acting which he enjoyed. Stine was in Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans. Stine did that for two years. Stine was also in Run the Race and Impulse which is one of the things he is most proud of.

Stine says this is his first Daytime role but he is familiar with it because he has helped Carson run some of his lines. Stine also knows other people who were on soaps such as Molly Burnett who played Melanie Jonas. Stine says thinks to his friends he has had brushes with soaps before. Stine is having fun and hopes to stick around.
