Sweet Home Sextuplets: Courtney And Eric Escape From The Kids
Sweet Home Sextuplets on TLC featured Eric and his wife, Courtney Waldrop. They have nine kids, with Saylor being the oldest. Then there are the twins, Wales and Bridge. The three boys in the sextuplets are Tag, Blu, and Layke. Meanwhile, the girls are Rivers, Rawlings, and Rayne. That’s a whole bunch of kids. But this week, their parents escaped from the kids for the first time in a decade.
Sweet Home Sextuplets Kids Grow Up Off TV These Days
No more new seasons come for the Waldrop family on TLC. Over the years, fans saw the babies getting potty trained, having birthdays, and living in a trailer. Christmas was filled with glitter, gifts, and overexcited kids. Meanwhile, Blu gave helicopter parents several bad moments. Remember, he was always the one climbing up the banister or into cupboards.
Sweet Home Sextuplets continued for a bit during the pandemic, but it ended after that and the news came from Courtney that they decided to stop filming. Actually, lots of shows went away in the last few years. The Little Couple was dropped, as was the Counting On. But of all of them, possibly Courtney’s announcement seemed the saddest. After all, fans had only just seen the younger kids starting to develop their personalities.
Sweet Home Sextuplets Mom Courtney Updates On Escaping The Kids
Although TLC fans don’t watch the show these days, they can keep up with the family on social media. If you don’t follow Courtney on Instagram, it might shock you at how big the kids have grown. In her post on October 13, Courtney assured her fans that they adore their brood of nine kids. However, it seemed awesome to escape from them for a little bit.
The Sweet Home Sextuplets alum said, “It’s been 10 years since Eric and I have been away overnight without any of them. 10 years…since we’ve been in silence for a whole night😝” Even though they only got away for a few nights, their mom missed them terribly. That is in direct contrast to the Busbys from OutDaughtered who get away together as often as possible.
Maybe Thye Get Away More Often In The Future
The Sweet Home Sextuplets alum explained that with the young kids and one thing and another, they didn’t have the opportunity to get away. But, she added, “Maybe it will start to be more possible in the future.”
Additionally, Courtney wrote, “But I will say this…Eric and I have managed to have an amazingly strong marriage full of so much love and happiness!!”
