The Voice: Blake Shelton Finally Announces His Exit From The Show
Blake Shelton, one of the favourite coaches on The Voice, will be leaving soon. Blake is the last OG coach on the show since Adam Levine left after Season 16. Things haven’t been the same since then. Now, Bake has decided that it’s time to step away from everything.
One More Season
Blake took to Facebook to share the news with his fans. He only has one season left. At the moment, the show is in the midst of Season 22. This will be the first time he will be coaching with Gwen Stefani as his wife.
After this season, Blake revealed that he would still be a coach for one more time. After this, it will be time for him to depart. Blake had to admit that it was a callous decision, as he had been thinking about it for a long time.
He pointed out that it has been a “hell of a ride” since he became a coach on the show. The OG star went ahead to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the show. He also noted that he had made many friends along this journey which he is eternally grateful for.
A Hell Of A Ride
Since the show started in 2011, Blake Shelton’s team has won eight times in 21 seasons. This was a massive deal for Blake, who has been known to be very competitive.
Fans could see how competitive nature was when Adam Levine was still on the show. Then Kelly Clarkson came along; now, he has Camila Cabello to take him on.
At the time when the show started, Blake got married to his second wife, Miranda Lambert. Unfortunately, the duo separated, but he met Gwen Stefani when she became a coach on the show. The new couple started dating in 2015 and got married in 2021.
Blake gained a lot of fame from reality TV and his music career. He has become popular among fans because of his dedication and compassion. In addition, he is fun to be with. This may be an unfortunate departure for many fans.
