With DAYS off of network TV and on Peacock, it looks like even the show’s promos can throw standards and practices aside and say whatever it wants.

During Beyond Salem II, it was shocking enough when Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) said “Holy shit” when she notices Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) alive after nearly 40 years. Now, our little promo is calling another 80s villain, Orpheus (George Del Hoyo), an asshat. Glorious.

That asshat happened to cause a malady in Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) that can only be cured by a rare orchid that is now extinct and this just thrills Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).

However, it seems Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) may not be the only innovative doctor in town able to do amazing things. Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) just might come to the rescue of his mother and her friends if he can just manage to somehow find a way to reproduce that special orchid. Can he do it in time?

Nancy And Mike Meet Again

At one time, Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) was just the scheming wife of Mike Horton’s (Roark Critchlow) med school friend, Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas), and all Nancy and Craig would do were things to ensure Mike wouldn’t become chief of staff at the hospital

Well, now they meet again now that he is briefly back in town and both are single. In fact, they flirt with one another in Horton Square and Mike gives Nancy his contact info for when they will both be in New York at the same time. So, an off-screen romance?

Is Chad Ready to Move On?

After the Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) that Chad DiMera conjured up in his mind last week conveniently told him it’s ok for him to move on so it seems as if he does just that with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) when he kisses her and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) spies them in the act.
