Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Will The Move To Peacock Lead To Explicit Sex Scenes?
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal new rules for the soap now that it won’t be aired on broadcast TV anymore. Or should we say fewer rules because it no longer has to comply with NBC standards and practices and will now be streamed?
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: A Sexier Salem
When Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem Chapter 2 streamed in July, when Kristian Alfonso’s Hope Brady said “Holy shit” we knew something had changed because that is not something you would have heard from any characters on NBC but on Peacock, while anything doesn’t go, perhaps almost anything does.
We can expect to hear more previously-forbidden words as we learn that our favorite Salemites do swear after all. But the newer Salem may not be limited to just swearing.
The Time You Didn’t See Brady’s Bum
When the Peacock holiday DAYS spin-off, A Very Salem Christmas, dropped last year, if both NBC and Peacock had approved, you would have seen Eric Martsolf’s naked butt as Brady Black.
“I still have more to show. I actually filmed my butt for the Christmas movie [A Very Salem Christmas]. It didn’t make it on. [A producer] called me at the last minute and said NBC wasn’t ready for that,” Martsolf told Soap Hub. “It was the Love, Actually scene where I dropped the cards [in front of Kristen DiMera, then Eileen Davidson]. They filmed an alternate ending where I was naked [showing my butt].”
Will Peacock Now Get More Daring?
Camila Banus told Soap Hub she hopes to fans get to see Gabi Hernandez push the envelope a little, which would be in character for Gabi.
“I’m excited about the move to the Peacock. There was a different energy when we were shooting Beyond Salem 2 and the Christmas movie. There’s an excitement. As far as pushing the envelope being pushed, I’m excited. I feel good about it,” Banus said. “I don’t have a problem with doing a little bit more. I think Gabi could be down for whatever. I go back to that scene where Blake Berris [ex-Nick Fallon] was holding a very small pillow. It showed a lot. Every once in a while, we [may] do that. Will it hurt? I don’t think we should do everything. Should the story call for it, I think we now have the ability to do it.”
