Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Jennifer Spirals Amid Abigail’s Death, Struggles Intensify

Days Of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest Early Editions that Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) will continue to spiral and struggle with grief. In the wake of Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) death and burial, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) finds another bloody body and that only compounds her grief.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Deadly Déjà Vu

When Jennifer hears of the shooting of Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) and that it was Chad who discovered his bloody body, it only compounds the grief over Abigail. Chad found her bloody and clinging to life, but barely and she had lost too much blood to save her. For both her and Chad, Sonny’s sad situation feels like deadly Déjà Vu and like Abigail’s murder all over again.

Jennifer and Chad both wonder if Sonny’s assailant is the same person as Abigail’s murderer, although Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) was cleared. Her killer is still out there and Chad will not rest until he or she is found and brought to justice, and neither of them will have closure.

DOOL Spoilers: A Sticky Situation

As for Jack Deveraux, (Matthew Ashford) he is still grieving his youngest daughter as well and wants answers; he’s in a sticky situation with his oldest still a person of interest. Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) and Leo just keep blame shifting back and forth to each other, although Jack feels like Gwen has been framed.

Jack, Jennifer, Chad and the children all grieve Abigail and desperately need the closure of justice for her murderer. But for Jennifer, who is doing the main caretaking for the little ones who miss Mommy, it’s even tougher. Every time she looks at little Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) she is reminded of Abigail at that age, and the grief digs deeper and deeper.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: When Will The Pain End?

Jack, Jennifer, the little ones and Chad all wonder when will the pain end, but it’s particularly difficult for Jennifer. In less than two years, Jennifer lost both her mother, Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) and her daughter Abigail, and her grief is compounded. For Jennifer, it is difficult to imagine the deep grief and loss she feels will ever end, and she cannot imagine being truly happy again.

The longer Abigail’s murder goes unsolved, the longer all of her loved ones crave justice, but more than that, closure. Jennifer wishes she could go back in time and prevent the tragedy from happening, as the whole family does.
