Days Of Our Lives Is Moving To Peacock
Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that DOOL is moving to Peacock exclusively on September 12, 2022. This move may have excited the powers that be, but it surely didn’t sit well with fans who have to pay for a subscription to watch. Fans were in an uproar threatening not to watch at all because of this.
According to TVLine, starting in September, Peacock is slashing prices, at least for a while. Peacock’s $4.99 package has been reduced to $1.99 a month or $19.99 for twelve months. The lower tier package offers access to the full library of shows and movies with limited commercials. However, there is an option with no commercial that runs $9.99. there is a free option as well but Days of Our Lives is not included.
DOOL Spoilers: A Months Worth Of Episodes For Two Dollars
Days of Our Lives viewers can get a full month’s worth of episodes for $2 to see if they want to continue to watch. Of course, published reports have also indicated that every episode of Days of Our Lives will be posted online as well. In other words, fans can watch episodes from 1965 to the present for that price.
Executive producer, Ken Corday wants everyone to know that the higher-ups have promised that DOOL will not be punished for this move. This is certainly looking like the reason that the change is happening in September. After all, what better way to prove that they are still backing the show?
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Corday Credits “Beyond Salem”
Cordey states that “Beyond Salem 2” did very well in the premium tiers, according to Soap Opera Digest. Of course, Peter Reckell (Bo Brady) and Kristian Alfonso (Hope Brady) had a hand in that success too undoubtedly. Long-time fans love Bo and Hope and look forward to learning if they will eventually return full-time.
Some fans thought that DOOL was being sent to Peacock to be put out to pasture. Removing that show from NBC’s daily lineup seemed to be the kiss of death in a lot of fans’ eyes. Will Days of Our Lives thrive on Peacock? Will fans take advantage of these rate changes to embrace the new format? Will Days viewers continue to watch after the show moves to Peacock?
