Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Orpheus’ Diabolical Plot; Takes Kayla And Marlena Hostage

Days Of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) has a diabolical plot! While he distracts Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) with worries he’s after his daughter, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Steve enlists John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) help, Orpheus kidnaps their wives.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Overprotective Dad

Steve has been on edge ever since Orpheus was paroled, and his sending a bouquet of flowers to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) didn’t help. Steve was afraid the bouquet, with an apology note attached, contained a bomb since that was one of Orpheus’ main MOs, or methods of operation. Steve was so worried that when the alarm went off at their condo, he held a gun on Stephanie, who’d forgotten the code to the alarm.

Orpheus has put the bug in Steve’s brain that he’s after his kids if he can’t get him, and it’s working. Steve becomes so overprotective of Stephanie he has John join him and they tail her where ever she goes, and it’s the perfect distraction for Orpheus’ real end game.

DOOL Spoilers: Orpheus Moves In

While he has Steve and John distracted with protecting Stephanie, which in essence sends them on a wild goose chase, Orpheus moves in to complete his real plot. Kayla and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) are in the same room together when he finds them, and there’s something very interesting about the room.

He corrals the women at gunpoint and tells them that they are all going to do something a little different, something they hadn’t done before, but not in that dreary place. His diabolical distraction plot has worked exactly like he thought it would; and Steve and John didn’t suspect a thing because Steve was convinced he was after Stephanie.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Kidnapped

After Steve and John’s wild goose chase of a protection detail for Stephanie, they come home to each find a kidnapping note and realize they’ve been hoodwinked! There is no signature on either note, but they both immediately know it’s Orpheus who’s responsible for the kidnappings, and now they have to concentrate on finding their wives. It’s almost embarrassing to admit to themselves, especially for Steve, that he was fooled into thinking Orpheus was after his daughter and it was one big diabolical distraction.

Steve and John know they have to move fast because Orpheus is already several steps ahead of them. There’s no telling why or where he kidnapped Kayla and Marlena although Steve knew there was a nefarious reason for that bouquet.
