Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of August 15, 2022 tease that a torrent of consequential action is taking place in Salem this week. Who is coming and who is going? Let’s take a look at all the action going down in and around Horton Square DOOL fans!

Days of our Lives spoilers: The week of August 15, 2022 Bids Adieu To a Deveraux

For starters, fans have seen the last (for now) of a favorite Salem son. JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) came back to Salem for his sister Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) funeral. That was a horrible reason to visit and now the character has returned home and left Salem. The character comes and goes so we likely will see JJ in the future, hopefully for a more joyous occasion.

DOOL spoilers: The week of August 15, 2022 Brings News of a Newbie

Abigail Klein has been cast as Stephanie Johnson, the daughter of Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans). She debuted in the role on Peacock’s Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem, Chapter 2.

Prior to Klein, Shelley Hennig portrayed the character. Klein’s credits include the CBS sudser The Young and the Restless as well as primetime roles on S.W.A.T., GLOW, Castle, and 90210. Fans can expect to see the newbie on Tuesday, August 16, barring any preemptions to the schedule.

Days of our Lives spoilers: The week of August 15, 2022 Leo Gets a Lawyer

Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is in a lot of trouble. Thus he needs a lawyer to defend him and that will be Jessica Serfaty who stars as his lawyer, Sloan.

Sloan will appear opposite Rikaart and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) this week. Leo stands accused of murdering Abigail. Two key developments last week led to his predicament. First, Abigail’s young son identified him as the “Tooth Fairy” who visited him at the mansion. That placed him at the scene of the gruesome crime. Second, Clyde Weston (James Read) identified Leo as the purveyor of stolen goods, ie, Abigail’s jewelry. Clyde had been on the hook for the murder, having given the deceased’s jewelry to Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo). Once Clyde was able to identify Leo as the black market dealer, it was curtains for the Tooth Fairy impersonator.
