Whitney can probably thank “Jared and Katie in the Morning on 107.5 KZL,” for her large TV audience and TLC success. Two years before Season 1 premiered, she was already appearing on the influential channel on YouTube. So, they literally made her famous. Of note, were the clips about “107.5 KZL’s Fat Girl Dancing” Since then, she found viewers who either love her or think the whole thing is scripted.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans thought about the possibility that Whitney really doesn’t live as fabulous a life as the TLC show makes out. Back in April, critics talked about how the show needs a hectic name change as they see little to celebrate. Apart from a string of unsuccessful man-hunts, fans grow tired of her toxic attitude to her friends. In fact, very few unforced happy moments come along these days.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life Star Seemed Happier Nine Years Ago
Season 10 premieres on August 9 and spoilers reveal that she went to a tropical island. Whereupon, she seemed jealous that her ex, Lennie enjoyed the company of other women. A few forced hilarity scenes revealed the star getting loud and party-ish. But, nowhere in sight is the genuine happy Whitney Way Thore of old.
On the eve of the new season, a Redditor shared an old throwback video of the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star. The video was dated 2013, and the caption asked, “has anyone seen these old videos of her rap battling in the radio station?”

Well, generally it seemed that she looked happier back then, and very self-confident. Checking it out on YouTube revealed that hardly anyone watched the video of her rapping in recent years. But, those who saw it back in the day thought that she took it away with her cool composure and confident personality.
