Little People Big World: Tori Explains Josiah Roloff’s Protruding Tongue

Little People Big World (LPBW) spoilers revealed that Tori Roloff fell pregnant again. At the time, TLC fans felt very happy for her as she previously suffered a miscarriage. Well, Jackson and Lilah Roloff now have their little brother, Josiah Roloff, but fans think there’s something wrong with him. This weekend, Tori took to her Instagram and explained why his tongue protrudes.

Little People Big World Baby Josiah Roloff Has Something Wrong?

Those fans who disagree that Zach and Tori should have babies said, “I told you so,” when Lilah arrived. Recall, Tori cried hard and confessed that she thought her daughter had a serious medical condition. Well, she wasn’t drastically unwell, and today TLC fans see a happy little girl. In fact, she looked completely adorable when she celebrated her second birthday.

Little People Big World fans wondered if Josiah Roloff would turn out to be a little person like Jackson.  Spoilers revealed that he is. So possibly, like Jackson, one day he ends up needing corrective surgery on his legs. However, fans don’t worry too much about that at the moment. Clearly, from comments on social media, they worry that something else is wrong because his tongue sticks out a lot.

Little People Big World Fans Discuss Josiah’s Tongue Again

In May, Celeb Baby Laundry reported that fans thought that something was wrong with Tori’s third child. The outlet talked about “macroglossia, (large tongue.)”  Healthline explains that a number of serious conditions can contribute to the problem. However, things like speech therapy can help. Actually, it’s not uncommon in children with Down syndrome. But, Josiah doesn’t have that.

When the Little People Big World star shared photos of her son at three months old, once again, fans wondered about that little tongue sticking out. Clearly fed up with it, Tori finally spoke up and explained it. That came after she gave her fans some updates. They included the fact that Josiah finally sleeps well. and his weight seems good. However, he seldom smiles.

Head Tilt And Tongue

Little People Big World grandma, Amy was quick to say “but when he does smile … priceless 🤗.” In the comments that followed, Tori revealed that all three of her children suffered from “head tilt.” However, with stretching exercises, it goes away. So, it’s not a serious condition.

Then the subject of the protruding tongue arrived again. One fan asked, “He’s adorable – does anyone know why his tongue is always out? Not a criticism just curious ❤️.” Nicely, Tori replied. So now, they know, they can stop asking.

Tori Roloff said, “A larger tongue is a characteristic of achondroplasia! He will grow into it. 🤗.”
