Days of our Lives Comings And Goings: Two Salem Sons Return, A Bad Dad Exits

Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of August 1, 2022 tease that the revolving door in Salem is spinning this week. Not one but two favorite Salem sons will be on the canvas this week. One young son is struggling to comprehend the horrible murder of his mother. Another older son appears with key intel that could crack this case wide open and target the real killer.

Elsewhere a contested son will be reunited his biological dad. Where will this plot point leave Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer)? That is an excellent question. Seeing as how both have now betrayed the other, is this there opening to reunite with a clean slate?

Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) will appear on Monday, August 1. This poor kid has already been through a lot in his young life and now he must cope with the death of his mother Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).

Look for the actor to share scenes with his father Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). It will be heart wrenching as father tries to console son as they both struggle to come to grips over Abigail’s murder. But is there a break in the case coming soon?

Another Salem son is back on the canvas when Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) comes to town. The son of Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) has crucial information about a suspect in Abigail DiMera’s murder investigation. Maybe at the same time he can work some magic and get his parents back on solid footing?

Meanwhile, fans have not seen the last of evil vixen Jan Spears (Heather Lindell). Just as the DNA wars between her baby daddy’s heats up, clever Jan appears in time to have a dynamite confrontation with her one nightery Evan Frears (Brock Kelly).

And speaking of Evan, the convict will be departing the show just as his storyline heats up. Look for the real baby daddy to make his final appearance on Wednesday, August 3.
