Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander and Sarah Go Undercover, Solve Abigail’s Murder?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will do anything to save Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) flashbacks don’t help Sarah’s case, though. When the police can’t find answers, “Xarah” will go undercover to find out the truth. Could Abigail DiMera’s (formerly Marci Miller) killer be the last person anyone expects?

Lucas Horton’s Flashbacks

DOOL spoilers reveal that Lucas wasn’t sure if he killed Abigail or not. In order to clear Lucas’ name, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) asked for Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) help. Despite Marlena’s disgust with Lucas kidnapping Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), the psychiatrist knew Abigail’s real killer had to be found.

Marlena’s hypnosis session turned up some interesting memories for Lucas. For one, Lucas realized he never went upstairs to Abigail and Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) bedroom. In fact, there was someone already in the mansion at the time of Abigail’s murder.

DOOL Spoilers: Sarah Horton Accused

Lucas remembered Sarah flying down the stairs and exiting through the door at the DiMera mansion. Now Sarah is being accused of killing Abigail. Even though Sarah has violent hallucinations, she insists on not going to see Abigail that night.

While the police try to figure out who really killed Abigail, Sarah needs to clear her name. It’s hard to do that when the police aren’t looking at anyone except her.

Xander Cook’s Investigation

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of August 1 reveal that Xander and Sarah decide to investigate. The couple is determined to prove that the police are looking at the wrong person and Lucas’ memories aren’t quite right. Xander is no stranger to deception and hidden agendas. So, if anyone can get to the truth, it just might be Salem’s semi-reformed bad boy.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Nicole Walker’s Mugger

Xander and Sarah might immediately suspect Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) or even Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). However, what if the real killer is someone unexpected, perhaps even a stranger to viewers?

During a recent episode, a strange young man threatened to shoot Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). The mugger was desperate for Nicole’s purse while Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) tried to intervene. This same young man will shoot Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) in front of Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).

Perhaps this same unnamed character is responsible for Abigail’s death. The criminal might have followed Abigail home and cased the place out. Perhaps the thief entered the DiMera mansion thinking that nobody was home.

Of course, someone could have told the robber about how to get into the mansion undetected and where to find the valuables. Surprised by Abigail’s presence, the anonymous villain might have stabbed the Salemite to death. It seems that the real killer will be someone unexpected and not a main character. After all, Nicole getting mugged in broad daylight is no coincidence.
