Now that Lucas kidnapping Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney) has been exposed, there is a clear motive in Abigail’s murder case. Even though fans know that Lucas didn’t kill Abigail, the police have to investigate every lead.

Although Lucas considered pleading guilty, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) gets Marlena to agree to help. Marlena hypnotizes Lucas about the night of the murder and some shocking revelations come to light.

Fans will see a new detective in Salem since Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) are now gone. Detective Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will immediately begin working on the murder case.

The beautiful detective will also work closely with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). As fans get to know Jada, will she get involved in other storylines, including a possible romance?

The weekly preview clip shows Lucas remembering someone screaming, then a mysterious person running out of the front door. Most likely, this won’t be the real killer but Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), who stole Abigail’s jewelry.

Another must-see moment next week has to do with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Xander will insist that they have to get married right away. Sarah ends up agreeing, which implies that the wedding is Xander’s way of protecting the woman he loves. However, the nuptials are interrupted. Who will crash the wedding and does it mean one of them is arrested for murder?
