Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Xarah Wedding Interrupted, Sarah Busted

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) wedding is interrupted. Thanks to information from Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Datillo) successful hypnotism, Sarah is brought in for questioning for the Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) murder.

Xander Cook realizes how short life really is after talking to Jack Deveraux, (Matthew Ashford) whose daughter Abigail was recently murdered, and he decides to move quickly. He tells Sarah he wants to get married that very day, after all the things they have been through after she was kidnapped by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). Xander portrayer Paul Telfer says in SOD that Xander’s impulsive sounding decision is both pragmatic and romantic, because in Salem, one never knows what will happen next.

There have been too many close calls and too many weddings interrupted, including theirs when Sarah left him stranded—Kristin as Sarah that is. Xander doesn’t want to take any chances at his precious Sarah being taken from him again.

DOOL Spoilers: She Says Yes

Xander is thrilled when Sarah agrees, but there’s only one catch – he had pawned her ring to buy Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) after awkwardly trying to get Gwen to accept it! Xander is just as awkward as he tries to explain his actions, but promises he will go to the pawn shop to see if he can buy it back.

Hoping against hope it’s still there, he heads for the shop and gets lucky and soon returns with Sarah’s original engagement ring. Now they just need to find their wedding clothes and get ready for their wedding and find a venue and officiant on extremely short notice! Soon, their wedding is underway, and they look forward to finally getting their happily ever after.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: A Groom’s Worst Nightmare

Little does Xander know that a groom’s worst nightmare, and his worst nightmare, is about to happen because of concurrent events going on at the Salem Police Department. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) had convinced Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to hypnotize Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) to bring his memories back of the night Abigail was murdered. He had become the prime suspect and was in lockup, because of the large cut on his hand and having had motive to want to shut his niece up permanently.

Lucas remembered, all right; he remembered seeing a short brunette rush out of Abigail’s bedroom and past him. He went to Abigail’s bedroom and saw her dying on her bed; the brunette swiped his hand with a knife as she ran past him.

DOOL Spoilers: Does Anyone Object: Detective Jada Hunter Apparently Does

Just as Xander and Sarah are getting ready to say their I do’s, new Salem Police Department Detective Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) bursts in and cuffs Sarah. Xander is offended to say the least, and loudly denounces her actions as an invasion of privacy, not wanting another wedding stopped!

He rants that the Salem Police have a nasty habit of ruining things for people, and of course everyone else at the small wedding is shocked. However, in the back of his mind he has got to be worried – there are several times he stopped Sarah from going after people in the midst of hallucinations. Could Sarah have been with Abigail and hallucinated, stabbing her as she mistook her for Kristen?
