sMothered: Brazillian Waxer Rykia Welcomes Baby – Mystery Dad?

sMothered star Rykia Lewis and her mom Karla McCoy were featured in Season 3 of the TLC show. Unbelievably close, they caught a lot of criticism for being way too close to each other. Close is one thing, but watching a sex tape and sharing Brazillian waxes seemed just too overboard for viewers. This week, she announced that she welcomed a baby. However, she kept the dad a mystery so far.

sMothered – Rykia Lewis Is Unusually Coy About New Baby

Viewers are used to being shocked by the overly-close mother and daughter duos on the TLC show. However,  this particular duo really shocked fans. Smacking of incest, a lot of people vented their anger about the network filming them. Not content with just spending a lot of time together, they did just about everything together: including getting Brazillian waxes done.

A lot of people on social media felt that Karla was overly interested in her daughter’s genitalia. Additionally, a sex tape scandal rocked sMothered viewers when they saw Karla call her daughter in to watch a graphic video.  However, Karla thought nothing of it. Considering Rykia’s openness, it seems a bit odd that now she welcomed a baby, she keeps quiet about who the baby daddy might be.

sMothered Spoilers – Rykia Lewis Shares A Photo Of Her Baby

Taking to her Instagram on July 12, Rykia shared a photo of a cute little newborn. Clearly, she wanted the child as she sounded thrilled about it. In her caption, she wrote, “On July 5 I gave birth to the most precious baby girl.” Next, she told fans that she named her baby “Charlette Rae Lewis🌸.” In the photo her  little one lay swaddled up, fast asleep.

Sweetly, the sMothered star said, “🌺. You are everything I wanted and imagined plus more🥰 I’m so happy God chose me for you💕.”  Like all of the cast, Rykia Lewis still has a lot of fans. Mind you, they won’t see her in Season 4 of the show. Actually, that’s a pity as it could have been a good storyline. Perhaps her baby daddy doesn’t want to be on the show. Or, the child might have been the product of a donor.

TLC Fans Congratulate The New Mom

Fans of sMothered sent in plenty of congratulations to Rykia Lewis. One of them penned, “Congratulations Ry’Kia. Your daughter is going to be gorgeous & famous like you one day. ❣”

Meanwhile, her sister, Rachel wrote, “My little niece is so gorgeous. Congratulations 💕🎉.”

Naturally, the reality TV star replied, saying, “Thank you Sis❤️😘.”
