Lucas Higdon Gives Some Important Details On The Meal Plan
Lots of viewers have always wanted to learn more about the show participants after leaving the show. However, they seem to just disappear without a trace.
Lucas Higdon was a participant in the 10th season of the show. Before he left the show, he was able to lose 150 lbs. So, how does he feel about Dr. Now’s Approach?
In a recent thread on Reddit, a fan wanted to know the specific details that went into the meal plan for all participants.
“I get Dr. Now means the very best when he talks of weight loss surgery and cutting foods out, even if it is just temporary,” the user said. However, this fan wanted to know if Dr. Now “cuts certain food completely altogether, even when the patients do successfully with his initial 1200 calorie a day diet plan, then have the surgery and keep the weight off?” He added.
Lucas Reacts To A Fan’s Post On Reddit
In response, this was what Lucas had to say: Honestly, every time I see Dr. Now he’s making sure I’m eating healthy. He wants me to cut out extra fatty and sugary foods. Dr. Now doesn’t call long after surgery diet “dieting” but rather just having a normal eating routine. Make sure to eat this portion of meats, this portion of greens, cut out most of the carbs, etc. I would say from experience he wants us to cut out the unhealthy foods even when we achieve a healthy weight,” Lucas said.
According to him, Dr. Now wants all participants to maintain the habit of eating right, less and less often. He admits that it hasn’t been an easy journey but it has been worth it.
