Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) Lucas Adams and his real-life partner, Shelby Wulfer have set a wedding date.

Sadly, viewers of Days of Our Lives and fans of his character, Dr. Tripp Johnson will say goodbye to him once again as he vacates the NBC daytime drama on June 15, 2022.

About The Couple

Adams and Wulfert have been dating since October 2015 and are gearing up to celebrate their 7th anniversary together. They both played roles on the series, “Liv and Maddie” with Adams playing Josh while Wulfert played the double for Maddie. Throughout their relationship, they’ve been on several fun adventures and continue to share blissful moments. They usually highlight this on Instagram. Now, they will be getting married this year and in October, in fact!

Speaking with Soap Opera Digest about his exit and his plans for the future, Adams revealed their wedding date. “Shelby and I have been planning our wedding. That;s been taking up a lot of our time. It will be October 15, which is coming up pretty soon, and in Texas. She already has her dress. We’re figuring out everything that’s going on. We’re doing a very small, micro wedding with just our family and stuff. Very intimate style,” he told them. Adams and Wulfter after dating for several years finally got engaged in July 2021. The happy couple is set to tie the knot later this year and we are so excited about it.

The Door At DOOL Have Been Left Open For Lucas Adams

While he will be off the canvas, the good thing is the door has been left open for him to return in the future. In fact, fans can gear up to see Adams on Beyond Salem chapter two, a Peacock spin-off series of the NBC daytime drama. Tripp leaves Salem and heads for Seattle to be with his half-siblings; Joey (Tanner Stein) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein).
